Samyuktha grew up everywhere. A Tamil girl, an army father, a childhood spread across the country. Manoj is Telugu. They married in Bangalore, at Angana Courtyard, and the day carried all of those textures at once, two languages, two traditions, a family long used to moving.

In the middle of all that motion, the two of them were perfectly still. Whatever was happening around them, they kept finding each other’s eyes. There was a softness in how they looked at one another, a kind of care you cannot direct and cannot fake.
