Laughter Under the Carved Windows · Arpitha & Madhu, Tamarind Tree

Arpitha and Madhu married in the deep green of Tamarind Tree, old carved windows, a fountain, big trees throwing soft light across the courtyard. It is a place that does half the work for you. The other half was the family. An elder in an orange turban laughing at something just out of frame. Petals in the air. A bride moving through the doorways of the heritage house like she belonged in them.

What we kept catching was the ease of it. Plenty of colour, nobody performing, laughter that did not wait for permission. It felt less like an event and more like a long family afternoon that happened to have a mandap in the middle of it.
